Hello there everyone! Welcome to gw2rp and to our first OOC Mingle!

We're very excited to kick this off and see what this little RP experiment might yield and we're thrilled you've come to check us out!

Tomorrow (Wednesday April 7th) we'll put up our first open RP post on the IC community which you can join in at your leisure, but in the meantime we thought it'd be good to have a little OOC Meet & Greet!

Here's a short form you can fill in to get you started, but you can add and subtract any fields you want!

Honestly, everything you need to know about her can be found in her application.

Short of it is that she awakened six years ago. Dreamer through and through although she has a realistic view of the world. Typical nightbloom so she's not about to share anything too personal unless she trusts the other person. She's tiny, 4'9", but don't let that fool you. She can certainly handle herself and she's stronger than she looks.


I have other characters but Sahaeil is the only one that I'm really doing anything with right now. And she's the only one with a journal that I actively play out of game (I have two other journals for sylvari but haven't touched them in forever).

What do you like to do in GW2?: Make new sylvari and then never do anything with them (okay sometimes I level them). Honestly I don't do a lot else...
RP Wishlist: I'm down for pretty much anything. Most of my RP is spent in games but I currently only play like a handful of characters (Sahaeil, one fandom character and another OC who is not a sylveri but could sorta pass for one).
Anything else? Not much else.

!!! Hello and welcome, Sylph! It's very exciting to have someone else join in, and also excellent to find other GW2 RPers already here on DW! (Is there a secret GW2 RP scene around here that I've not managed to find via Bakerstreet and other such places? :O )

I was just reading your app and feeling inspired by it--I've been meaning to write a history and personality section for Kyinnlen and one for Fraendryll...actually, I wrote one for Fraendryll, but it was on tumblr and just as I was ready to post it my browser crashed and I lost the whole thing. I am still gutted about that.

Anyway, I look forward to playing with you soon and all the salad antics that might transpire! o/

thanks, and not that i'm aware of, i've seen a few around on dear_mun or dear_player in the past but i haven't seen many people playing any gw2 characters in games (but i'd always be happy to see them in my games)

Also dropping in to say hello and to say it's very exciting to see other DWers playing GW2 characters! I'm always really excited when I see people playing their GW2 characters (especially sylvari, bcuz biased) in games and whatnot since there really don't seem to be many around. I'm really thrilled you've dropped by to say hi :D

Also I really like Sahaeil's look; what a cute little Priory salad! /chinhands

I do notice my cabbage bias whenever I log on, it's true, and while my other main is a human I find something so charming and interesting about sylvari. I just can't stop staring and people come up with such interesting looks and ideas for their salads.

And I really hope we get to thread a bit sometime! I'm always keen to see what happens between characters in chance encounters :)

i think the different colour combos and whatnot that one can come up with sylvari is why i have so many, everything else is just so boring in comparison (except maybe charr but they just dont look good in anything)

i hope so as well although my game tags tend to keep me pretty busy

I do entirely agree there, there is a lot more scope for design and possibilities and plant-inspiration with sylvari than anything else. I also love charr but I often find myself a little frustrated with the male faces in particular and hairs. And...them new hairs. Hm. :T

Ahhh, yes, games do tend to that, I won't even pretend not to know. I know we're trying to keep things light and flexible here, a sort of hop-in-when-you-want kind of feel with as few or as many obligations as people want to have. If you find time, feel free to hit us up :D
